Who We Are

We are a growing group of residents that are concerned about the condition of our community and the costs and issues we deal with living here. Our goal is to include everyone in this organization so that we can work collectively to create better living conditions, support our neighbors, and help create a safe, welcoming place for all of us to call home. We will always act in the best interest of our community with honest, transparent, and ethical decision-making.

We formed due to the purchase of our community by a private equity firm, Havenpark Communities that resulted in less services and much higher lot rent. We are an advocate for our community residents and have held media events, communicated to the new owners directly and through local elected officials, lobbied our state leaders in Des Moines to pass legislation that will limit the landlords powers and rate increases, and work with local officials and other state and local organizations to bring about needed change. But we need YOUR help! There is power in numbers, we are owned by a massive private corporation that controls over 24,000 manufactured home sites. If we are to succeed we need everyone’s help.

    Hi, I'm Dana! My husband, Dan, and I have called Lakeridge Estates home since 2006, where we raised our two adult children, Tiffany and Brice. We chose Lakeridge because of its affordability and welcoming community, and it's been a wonderful place to call home.

    I've been a hairstylist for 41 years and am now enjoying semi-retirement while also caring for my parents here in Lakeridge. I truly enjoy helping people, which is why I'm passionate about advocating for our manufactured home community.

    I'm excited to get to know more of my neighbors, listen to your ideas, and work together through the Lakeridge Estates Residents Association to make our community an even better place for everyone.

    Retired when we moved here from Phoenix in 2020, got bored and now am Facilities Service Coordinator at UI Children’s Hospital. Previous 21 years with airlines, Realtor and part of a team that built 4 subdivisions in Phoenix. Husband named Brian and cat named Dolce. Had planned to actually retire in next 5 years but with the Havenpark increases looks like I will have to keep working,

    Presently part of the leadership team at Kwik Star in North Liberty (over 15 years with Kwik Star/Kwik Trip). Seven years with Enterprise Holdings at Phoenix Airport, including running the operation at the two FBO’s (corporate/private aircraft). Grew up in Clinton and surrounding areas.
